The commission, which began as a grassroots project of Green Medford but is now in the process of shifting to be the City of Medford Garden Commission hosted in the Office of Energy & Environment at city hall is currently working on creating two gardens.
The first is a large community garden in Condon Shell Park and its currently awaiting approval by DCR before fundraising.
The second garden in development is part of the redevelopment at McNally Park on Webster Street.
There is also a community garden behind the McGlynn Middle School called Riverbend Garden which is unaffiliated with this garden commission.
Any questions regarding this garden can be directed to Lena Gasparro at http://www.oocities.org/medfordgarden/.
